Excellent reminder Lowell Ann.
There is also the photography art of Miksang. Check out http://www.miksang.org/m/index.html

I took a course while I was in Newfoundland and those were the most creative photos I've ever taken.

This is a lovely reminder Deborah. I would add one more suggestion to your list. That is to take up a creative activity of some sort.

Not long ago, I decided to learn something about photography and took a few lessons from ANDREW KIELBOWICZ of Going Digital. I traded my old camera in for something more up-to-date and began by choosing a theme to guide my choices. The colour yellow was the first, then came circles and now I'm looking for designs that could be easily translated to a quilt design.

Whenever, I could use a bit of an emotional pick me up, I dig out the camera and just work with small items in my home and balcony. But a walk in the park or trail with my camera is pure joy for me.

You can find Andrew's website at http://www.goingdigital.ca/
