About Mary
I am a retired Nurse with 30 years of experience in both Western and Energy Medicine. My journey as a healer began when I was 18 years old and took a medical terminology and medical office assistant course. After graduation I worked as a Dental Assistant, an Optometrist’s Assistant and then started Nursing school. As a Registered Nurse I specialized in surgical nursing and also worked in the areas of palliative care and nutrition counselling.
In my early 20’s I began practicing meditation and became interested in the world of energy. I’ve had the privilege of learning and practicing several energy healing modalities; I was one of the first people to learn Therapeutic Touch, and also studied Touch for Health, Reflexology, relaxation massage, Bowen Therapy and I trained to the level of Reiki Master.
In my years of practicing as a healer, I’ve seen first hand how people’s home environments relate to their illnesses. For example I’ve seen and experienced clutter on many different levels working as a home nurse and as a Reiki Healer and teacher. During this time I have developed a passion to help people unlock the areas of their lives that are related to clutter and keep them stuck into a particular energy pattern. This interest led to me to discover feng shui and to look even deeper at the underlying messages in our homes and how these contribute or relate to illness.

Mary Lawson is a feng shui practitioner (Certified Practitioner of Interior Alignment™). She is a gifted intuitive healer with training and experience both in Western Medicine (Registered Nurse) and energy medicine (Bowen Therapy and Reiki Master). Her focus in Feng Shui is how the outer energy of your home relates to the Chakras and the illnesses or health issues and imbalances. With Mary’s extensive training in energy medicine she knows that each illness carries a certain vibration which resonates with the vibration of the energy of your home.
For example, if you are experiencing low back pain, Mary uses the bagua map of feng shui, the chakras of the body and intuition to locate the source of the problem. She examines the Abundance Area of the bagua map as well as what is going on in your life, such as:
- how supported do you feel financially?
- is there clutter or broken items in your Abundance areas?
She will examine the 1st Chakra which is related to basic needs and survival, the corresponding Heart Chakra, the parallel Throat Chakra, as well the Health Center of the home.
Mary will then give you specific changes to make in your life - through working with symbols, colours and specific feng shui recommendations for the Abundance Area (and other related areas of your home). This will powerfully change the energy patterns of your home and make any treatment you are receiving more profound because you are dealing with the underlying pattern of disharmony in the body. Mary may also incorporate distance healing into your sessions.
