The changes my clients make in their homes through the process of feng shui often brings about a remarkable change within them. The process opens up something inside, resulting in a tangible sense of peace, beauty, well being and a more purposeful life.

What is Feng Shui?
Feng Shui is the study of how our lives are affected by the places we live and work. This art of environmental design includes aspects of interior design, architecture, physiology and ecology, with location and geography, and fluidly adds psychology and spirituality.
As a feng shui practitioner I most often work with people who have identified something out of balance or that just doesn’t feel right in the home or work place.
I also work with people who are moving into a new home and want to put feng shui principles into their home before they begin to make changes.

Feng Shui for Manifesting
Many feng shui books talk about attracting wealth, good luck or even happiness by using feng shui. Personally I do not believe feng shui can offer such things in and of itself, but I do believe it activates and releases the dorman abilities each of us has through using Intention.
It first involves figuring out what you really want your life to be and then arranging your living environment so that those desires are reflected in it. One of the tools I use in feng shui called the Bagua Map helps us to clarify what we want in our lives, and in turn it helps us to define and refine our environment so there is a match. Feng Shui works with your Intention to create alignment between what you want and how it is expressed in your environment. This combination can powerfully propel your life forward.
In Wayne Dyer’s book The Power of Intention: Learning to Co-Create Your World Your Way, he discusses the importance of a high quality environment as a tool of manifesting:
Prayers, paintings, crystals, statues, spiritual passages, books, magazines, the colors on your walls, and even the arrangement of your furniture all create energy into which you’re catapulted for at least half of your waking life.
Become aware of how being in high-energy surroundings impacts us in ways that strengthen our lives and remove barriers to our connection to intention.
~ Wayne Dyer, The Power of Intention
Bagua Map
One of the tools I use in Feng Shui is based on the Bagua Map, an energy grid used in feng shui. This grid which focuses on 8 aspects of life. This grid is superimposed on the floor layout of a home, so that every home has a family area, prosperity area, a fame area, a love area and so on. There are colours and symbols associated with each area. For example if you are feeling stuck or blocked, I examine the Family area of the home, which is associated with breaking past obstacles and going forward in life, as well as the Abundance area which can also be a metaphor for how much we feel we deserve to have. These two areas can give us the subtle message of ”hold back, there isn’t enough”. We want to remove those messages, and I given specific changes to make in your home, working with colours, symbols objects and art, removing clutter from those areas and spiritual homework.
